This is an introductory class focusing on practical Mindfulness practices that you can use daily to decrease stress and support your overall well-being. This is recommended as the first workshop in the series as it presents essential introductory information on stress and stress management not covered in the other workshops.

Mindfulness for Managing Stress, Generating Positive Emotions and Cultivating Inner Peace.
While we can't control most of the events we experience in life, we can learn tools to help ourselves navigate those experiences with more ease and grace. The focus of this workshop is on Heart-Mind coherence techniques to help you experience positive emotional states more often.
This is usually recommended as the second workshop in the series, after the Introduction to Effective Mindfulness workshop,
but can stand alone.

METTA MEDITATIONÂ FOR STRESS REDUCTION
Increase your Happiness by Leveraging the Power of Your Mind
Metta Meditation has been the topic of much research and is often referred to as "Loving Kindness Meditation". Metta Meditation is considered by many to be one of the most transformative single meditation practices when done on a regular basis with proper instruction. The state of universal love which is cultivated in this practice brings us into a gamma brainwave state. This is the brain state associated with peak creativity and performance, mystical transcendence, unity consciousness and optimal well-being.
This workshop is usually recommended as the third workshop in the series, after the Introduction to Effective Mindfulness and the Heart-Mind Coherence workshops, but can stand alone or serve as a second in the series after the introduction course.
