In the human body, the heart generates the largest rhythmic magnetic field, one that is about 100 times the amplitude produced by the brain.
The heart communicates with the brain through neurological, biochemical, biophysical and electromagnetic mechanisms.
It is possible to intentionally engage the unique nervous system of the heart to create a state of well-being through a phenomenon called coherence.
Physiological Coherence is defined as a state in which entrainment, resonance and synchronization occur between the systems of the body resulting in a harmonious state characterized by increased parasympathetic nervous system activity.

THE SCIENCE OF
"Positive emotions . . . were found to increase order and balance in the nervous system and produce smooth, harmonious heart rhythms.
"But these harmonious and coherent rhythms did more than reduce stress; they actually enhanced people‘s ability to clearly perceive the world around them."
